On the Workbench (September 2018)

No posts for a while, but lots on the go!

The workbench (dining table…) has a bunch of miniatures under construction.  Most are for D&D (or Conan RPG) and Bolt Action.  As usual, I find myself in ‘build mode’ rather than ‘painting mode’.

 

The Reaper Bones miniatures are a big favourite.  A good price point and lots to choose from.  The Wizkids D&D miniatures (Troll and Unicorn) are also good value and are pre-primed.

 

More Reaper Bones with a few Warlord winter-themed Germans for Bolt Action.  The Germans are undercoated with Plastic Soldier Field Grey spray and will be based on some Rubicon plastic bases.  The Warlord Marder III M will get a coat of Dunkelgelb and a ‘white-wash’.

 

Finally, a Renaissance Miniatures building and a few Sampans under construction.  These are from a Kickstarter a while back and might not be available anymore.  They are being assembled so I have some more interesting terrain for my Bolt Action pacific theatre games.
