One third of the way through the challenge and all is going well.  Apart from some miniatures that are still in the post (some extra Szekely cavalry and a few other bits and pieces), I will now stop the assembly line and move onto painting.

I have now assembled, undercoated and based:

Transylvanians

  • 12 x bases of Seimeni.
  • 4 x bases of Haiduks (2 x mounted and 2 x dismounted).
  • 8 x bases of Szekely Handgunners (4 x mounted and 4 x dismounted).
  • High Command set (1 x base for General and 6 x bases for other commanders).
  • 8 x bases of Comitatus Cavalry (Assembled and undercoated only).
  • 2 x bases of Szekely Cavalry (Assembled and undercoated only).
  • 12 x bases of Enlisted Lancers.
  • 4 x bases of Light Szekely Cavalry.
  • 2 x bases of Kurtany Cavalry.
  • 2 x Light artillery.

Cossacks

  • 46 x bases of Cossack Moloitsy (16 x bases with spears, 24 x bases with muskets and 6 x bases with commanders).
  • 2 x bases of Cossack Plastuny Scouts.

Brandenburgers

  • High Command set (2 x base for Generals and 5 x bases for other commanders).  This includes the Grand Elector from the Warsaw supplement.
  • 3 x bases of Commanders.
  • 6 x bases of Armoured Veteran Reiters.

The total tally is 3 x Generals, 162 cavalry and other commanders (54 x bases), 196 infantry (66 x bases) and 2 light artillery bases. This used up a couple of cans of black undercoat spray and a few tubes of super glue!

And lastly, because my blog is way too ‘black & white’ at the moment, a couple of photos of some painted Swedish Reiters.  These were painted by Wargamer in Poland (I don’t know the specific artist) and I think they are great!  The only change I made was to paint the edges of the bases brown to match my other miniatures and to add a few clumps of dark green foliage.
